The 2018 campaign season has officially begun in Pitt County.

I enjoyed participating in the Pitt County Farm Bureau Candidate Event on Tuesday, August 28th. It was a great opportunity to meet some old friends, and to see some new faces as well.

Nearly 35 candidates for local and statewide office were in attendance at the Event. In recent years, this forum has become a mainstay for local candidates in Pitt County.

The Event was moderated by Pitt County School Board member Benjie Forrest. He did an excellent job keeping things moving and entertaining the crowd in between candidate speeches.

The Pitt County Farm Bureau Event was well attended on August 28th, 2018.

Coming from a family background in agriculture, (my dad and grandfather were both farmers in Pitt County,) I have a great appreciation for what Farm Bureau does for farmers in our community.  It was an honor to participate and share my message with those people in attendance.

I would greatly appreciate your support, and your vote in the November 2018 general election.
